My passion for photography started when I turned 10 years old and as a birthday present received a pocket camera from my parents. That gift planted a seed in my creative mind. At first, I mainly took pictures at family gatherings and of my dogs, who were always willing models. Pictures still cherished for the precious moments they captured.
As I grew older, I continued taking pictures capturing moments during holidays, birthday parties, and other special occasions. However, it wasn't until 2012, when my late partner and I travelled to South-Africa, that my passion for photography truly deepened. I wanted to go beyond the simple holidays shots and develop my skills further. So I did and still do.
Over the past years, I have taught myself to photograph landscapes, cityscapes and more recently, wildlife. Photography has given me a greater appreciation for the wonders of nature and has made me realise how important it is to cherish the beauty our world offers us for free.
